New cell therapy treatment technique

The American Chemical Society has announced a new technique that would allow cell therapy treatments to target diseased areas in the body with pinpointed accuracy. Attaching therapeutic cells to superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs) gives cells a magnetic attraction.
